Change yourself, change the world

Change yourself, change the world

Sometimes change happens with a bang. Usually, though, change happens in small steps.

Think about it. Do you have a half hour of time every day that you waste? Pick one thing to work on for a half hour every day. Maybe it’s getting in shape. Maybe it’s practicing an instrument. Maybe it’s simply taking time to meditate and get to know yourself.

That’s not a huge dedication. 30 minutes of your day to take time out and devote to yourself, or a passion, or a hobby that you enjoy.

Over the course of a year, you will have spend the equivalent of one month working full-time developing whatever it was you chose. A year really isn’t that long to see massive results. It will take small steps, but those will build up over time.

Think outside the box here – you could learn a new language, or a new skill. You could learn a new incredible skill every year, instead of being in the same rut every New Years Eve! Be creative.

In the meantime, you will probably have eliminated 30 minutes that you used to vegetate in front of the TV, so your life will have improved regardless.
